"Abraham", our wonderful guard dog at 4 months old.
Most of our goats had never experienced the kind of snow and ice that we had during this unusual November storm. We had prepared for it so they enjoyed the warm and dry barn and spent their time playing, eating, sleeping and listening to their music. We were blessed that they all remained healthy in spite of the week long wicked weather.
Our grand daughter spends most of her summers, spring breaks and other holidays here at the farm in Oklahoma. She lives in a big city, but is a true country girl at heart and wants to be a vet when she grows up.
Patchy resting after giving birth to her first set of triplets.
This granddaughter loves coming to the farm and talks her dad into bringing her often. She really likes helping grandpa with the chores, gathering eggs and riding Molly...but most of all she loves the goats and really enjoys helping us do our monthly vet checks.
Our little angel helping grandpa do the chores..in her dress up play clothes. She thinks doing chores in her dress up clothes is the ultimate!!! She really loves the country. These are four of our very young bucks.
Pat with one of our October newborns. He finds birthing both miraculous and exciting. He really bonds with the mama's and his calming presence helps them to relax during the birthing process.

This was a kodak moment ...Pat with one of his little kids during monthly vet check.

Pat with 4 of our young bucks. He truly enjoys spending time with all our goats and they all like having him around...he has them all spoiled rotten.
I never knew raising goats would be so enjoyable. I definately spend more time with them than I do in the kitchen...
They love coming in from the pature for their afternoon naps.
We enjoy having our morning coffee on the front porch and watching some of our goats in the pasture. We love animals and our goats are definately among our favorite pets.
